Outdoor World campground. Horrible roads within campground, large ruts and deep ditches on both sides of the entry road. Beautiful lake, only a few lakefront campsites, all seemed to be occupied by "seasonals" so not available to general membership. Sewer sites are available, but again most taken by "seasonals", and those few remaining were quite unlevel sites. We stayed in a non sewer site that was fairly level. The dump station did not have a cover on the sewer outlet! Pool & store not open during posted "open" hours. Benches on lakefront had nailheads sticking up a quarter inch or so, just an indication of the lack of even simple maintenance at this campground. "Rangers" on patrol going well beyond the 10 mph speed limit, just seemed to ride around all day not doing anything but kicking up the dust from the non-paved roads. In the comfort station nearest us, the last date logged in for cleaning/inspection was two weeks ago. There were cobwebs at the entry door to the comfort station that a tall man would run into. We did not use the comfort station. Campground staff not very friendly. On the positive side, the lake was beautiful and the campground peaceful, as there was hardly anyone there. We will not camp there again.

We camp here because it is very convenient off Interstate 84 exit 1. Though some big rigs can get in this campground, there is a very difficult turn to the left at the bottom of the hill as you enter, so many big rigs refuse to stay here. This park's roads are the pits! Dirt and some gravel, when it rains the roads are nothing more than potholes and mud, and some of the 50amp section campsites get waterlogged too. They have known about this issue for at least a year, but no improvements so far. All of the 50 amp full hookup sites are in one area with many back to back "back in" sites....problem is that if there is a 40+ft motorhome in one, then the site behind it will only have 20-30ft available (depending on the location in this area), so the full number of sites will not really be available for motorhomes/5th wheels/travel trailers that require the 50amp service. The CG has lots of weekend activities for children and adults, and it really fills up the CG & cabins to the max. Some of these activities (wrestling for example) can be VERY loud and may not appeal to everyone....check the CG web page for the schedule prior to your visit. Lakefront sites do not have sewer (the few that do are taken by "seasonals") and are best suited to tents and small campers. The staff is not overly ambitious and often can be seen taking numerous smoking breaks. Still, we will return, as the cg is convenient and meets our basic needs.

Entry is dumpy, owner is not particularly friendly, no amenities (laundry, pool, activities) just a place to park on or near the river, which is very nice. There are very few sewer sites available for the traveler, most are taken by seasonal trailers. As another reviewer noted, there is a Super Wal-Mart within 10-15 min. Also a new Tractor Supply and Home Depot in same shopping area, with ample restaurant opportunities. The CG supplies cable TV, but the Wi-Fi is $6 extra per day. No security or gate at this park. In my opinion this is expensive for what you get....there is a COE campground 10 miles away that is a gem by comparison.
